On the nose it is with blackberry, cassis and slightly crushed strawberry notes are combined with hints of black berries as well as violet, nutmeg, sweet spices and discreet toasted hints. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/tangy frame, tension, a little airy character, good definition and fat. On the palate, expressing juicy/pulpy blackberry, cassis and more slightly fleshy raspberry notes combined with hints of violet, crushed red fruits as well as the zan, toast and a subtle touch of caramelization. Good length. The tannins are well developed. 80% Merlot, rest mostly Cab Franc.
