The 2014 Reserva has a more modern profile and more forward fruit despite its relatively long élevage. It's fermented separately in small French oak vats and matured in new and second use French and American barriques for 24 months. It's quite smoky and balsamic, with integrated oak but still showing some toasted notes and ripe fruit without excess, a mixture of red and black berries. It has good balance and a medium-bodied clean palate, with some faint leathery sensation.
