AROMA
The aroma is bright with noble hops and a hint of toffee. But as the beer warms the aromatics turn decidedly sweet with dark fruits of plum and raisin.
FLAVOR
The palate is led by notes of chocolate and brown bread. Flavors of dark fruits such as plum and raisin mixed with nut follow. Finishes with a light taste of vinous booze and cherries that bottoms out with a mellow toffee sweetness.
MOUTHFEEL
The body of the Doppelbock is smooth and creamy and has a medium build with medium-light carbonation. The Bock finishes dryly.
