Inky eggplant color, opaquely dense. Bold aroma of violet, cola nut, and dried figs followed by notes of hazelnut and leather. A very rich wine full of round tannins and a burst of acidity. Long finish, slowly fading acidity and intriguing smokiness. Very velvety mouth feel and smoky finish.
