Marc Kreydenweiss Les Grimaudes red Costieres de Nimes 2017 BioD

Biodynamic principles have been applied to the entire vineyard. Hand-harvested Carignan and Cinsault from 50 year-old vines. Les Grimaudes’ is made by Marc’s wife Emanuelle Kreydenweiss and is a fantastic example from this region! A very dark red color bursting with savory blackcurrant, plum, violet, spice and roast game aroma’s, on the palate it is juicy and deep with smooth tannins and a nice bit of freshness. A delicous red wine to drink alongside rustic comfort food like cassoulet, roast (game) sausages with lentils or lamb shoulder with lots of garlic and herbs.Winemaker –“ Was also voted ‘best match’ at our most recent Boeuf Bourguignon Tasting, beating some very expensive bottles of red Burgundy.”
